FilterMitts™

Our FilterMitts™ are elongated tubes of biodegradable fabric filled with a blend of compost and partially decomposed chipped or shredded woody material. They offer flexible, multi-function utility in a variety of applications.

12″ FilterMitt ™ weighs 30 lbs per linear foot which is 2 to 3 times heavier then other devices. Staking only required on 2 to 1 slopes or greater, and never through the device only behind to back up.

FilterMitts™ can be installed on site or picked up in 10 foot sections upon request.

Our Method of blowing in FilterMitts™ is guaranteed effective height and has a mixture of shredded wood & compost.

Product Variations

The FilterMitt™ casing is a natural burlap (Hessian) plant-based fabric with size (diameter) options of nine, 9, 12, and 18 inches.
The basic mitt can be configured in a number of different configurations to address specific site needs.
